Welcome. I’m Pinkyhoot, a Chinese American visual artist and content creator based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I create contemporary surreal watercolor and gouache paintings where the everyday woman is the hero—thoughtful, emotional, and quietly powerful.

My work explores identity, mental health, and intention, encouraging women to slow down and reflect on how they live, think, and consume in an increasingly overwhelming world. Through symbolic figures, florals, and my signature Orbettes—eye-shaped creatures that personify thoughts—I aim to transform inner emotions and mental states into visual experiences that feel both tender and honest.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I spent over a decade as a footwear designer working with well-known global brands. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I returned to art to build a whimsical yet meaningful world rooted in emotional clarity and self-awareness.

My work has been exhibited internationally and featured in print and digital platforms.
