🐎 The Horse is the free spirit of the Chinese zodiac, warm and full of go, happiest in motion. If you were born in 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, or 2026, this is your year. The sunflower is her flower, and it fits her completely. It spends its whole day turning toward the light, faithful and bright and always facing forward, which is loyalty and warmth in the shape of a flower. Together they say the same thing in two languages, keep your face to the sun, keep moving toward what's good.
🖼️ This is the first original painting in my Chinese Zodiac series, twelve animals, each given its own little world. It's an original watercolor and gouache painting, made by hand and finished with my red seal, meant to live on a wall as a piece of horse art you can actually sit with.
